Now, before I list my writing projects, I must emphasise one thing: do not ask me for any information like titles, character names, and plot information beyond the general. I am a paranoiac, particularly where plagiarism is concerned.
Book 1: Postcyberpunk book. Multiple drafts completed. Currently on hold, pending rewrites.
Book 2: Science fiction conspiracy thriller. Completed to my personal satisfaction (after nearly three years of rewrites), need to find agent for publication.
Book 3: Science fiction/psychological thriller/fantasy book. Single draft completed, but rewrites necessary. Now intend to make Book 3 a prequel for Book 2.
Book 4: Sequel to one of the original drafts of Book 2. Single draft completed. Because of later modifications to Book 2, Book 4, as is, is now redundant.
Book 5: Alternate history science fiction thriller. Originally to be written for the Terry Pratchett Prize, but due to concerns of quality and time, decided to develop independently of prize. Still being written. Current priority project.

I am a paranoiac, particularly where plagiarism is concerned. Besides the plagiarism thing, telling too much about your work in public might diminish your drive to finish the work, at least some writers find it so. I have a bunch of projects of my own which I have recently decided all take place in different locations in the same sci-fi universe. They are: 1. The Psion series which is about 2 young members of a powerful but persecuted human telepathic caste. 2. The Mayerling series which is about a family on a world in the process of being fully terraformed. 3. An alien invasion story which sets up the general situation in the other stories, or at least it will when I finish readjusting all the books to fit my new scheme. 4. A semi-fantasy series which I'm not sure will fit in, but I did have it in mind to have a scientific explanation (or at least hints of one) for the apparent 'magic'. I have the papers for the various versions of these different projects scattered about the house and my new year's goal is to get my papers and computer files organized on this.

I am my own worst critic in either case. I have a bunch of projects of my own which I have recently decided all take place in different locations in the same sci-fi universe. Two of my series share the same universe (the postcyberpunk story and the conspiracy thriller) separated by about a millennia of history.

In other words, a Cosmic Horror Comedy. Currently on hold for the time being. Book 7: A fantasy book that deconstructs many fantasy tropes.
